Dr. Jason Michael - Specialist Paediatric Dentist

MDS(Ade), BScDent(Hons) DClinDent (Syd) MRACDS

Jason graduated from the University of Adelaide with Bachelor of Dental Surgery and Bachelor of Science in Dentistry (Honours) degrees. He was awarded the University Medal for his academic achievements.

Jason has worked previously as a general dentist in a number of regional and rural clinics in Central Queensland. It was his time in the School Dental Clinics that sparked his interest in Paediatric Dentistry. Jason’s specialist training was completed at the University of Sydney with a Doctorate of Clinical Dentistry (Paediatric Dentistry) degree.

As well as working with us at Norwest Paediatric Dentistry, Jason works part-time work at the Westmead Centre for Oral Health, where he is heavily involved with teaching and clinical mentoring of both undergraduate and postgraduate students as a Clinical Associate Lecturer at the University of Sydney and Charles Sturt University.

Jason likes to keep fit in his spare time running after his young son Harry along with cycling, tennis and squash.

Jason is a member of the following groups: Australian Dental Association, Australasian Academy of Paediatric Dentistry, Australian and New Zealand Society of Paediatric Dentistry, American Academy of Paediatric Dentistry, Royal Australasian College of Dental Surgeons.
